We had a wonderful stay at the Alastrean Flat. The flat was clean and tidy, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. It was conveniently located near the center of town, making it easy to explore. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, even calling back within 5 minutes to assist with an issue we had with the water temperature. The spaciousness of the flat was perfect for our family, and the kids especially loved the large bath. we felt safe and right at home during our stay.
While there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the need for more tea towels and hand towels in the kitchen, flat pillows on the beds, and a missing net curtain in the front bedroom window, these did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment of the flat. Additionally, there were some maintenance issues that could use attention, such as a bathroom door without a handle, a leaking kettle, and a broken fixture on the living room lamp.

Both my kids and I felt safe here. The owner made me feel at home. The rooms were spacious, complete with a microwave oven, central heating, and an iron. The bathroom was huge there. Its location was particularly good, 5 minutes' drive to Duthie Park Winter Gardens.

The flat was so welcoming and homely, making our romantic escape truly special. We found everything we needed and the owner was incredibly helpful, even calling us back within minutes to assist with adjusting the water temperature. the spaciousness and comfort of the flat exceeded our expectations, and it was just a short drive away from the town center. Plus, the massive bath was a delightful treat for both of us to relax in together. A truly wonderful experience that we didn't expect at such an affordable price.
The bathroom door had no handle, and the kettle had a significant leak. the toilet door would bang against a cupboard, and the wooden toilet seat was unfortunately split.

Free WiFi was a blessing, especially when I couldn't stand the thought of socializing. The towels were so fluffy, I almost wanted to take them home with me as souvenirs.
Oh, how I loved the challenge of opening the bathroom lock every time. So much fun.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was charming, with little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people like me to move around comfortably. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility was excellent, with convenient parking options and easy access to nearby attractions.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there in terms of providing information about the local area and suggestions for activities that would be suitable for senior people. It would have been great to have a dedicated member of staff available to assist with organizing outings and providing guidance on local amenities.
